Intellectual Property and Course Refunds: The purchase of courses may include intellectual property that is transferred or conveyed to you, and once delivered, you have received it’s value in-full. For example, if you purchase a course and view the lessons, the information contained in the lessons has been conveyed and cannot be “retracted” from you. Likewise, if you purchase a website design, search engine optimization services, search engine marketing services, etc, the full value of the intellectual property is conveyed at the time of delivery for services performed. Therefore, for intellectual property and service work performed, your purchase of our products indicates your understanding, agreement, and acceptance of our NO REFUNDS policy with the following, limited exceptions:
- We will honor refunds within 14 days of courses purchased if the course progression has not advanced beyond the introduction and orientation module. We do our best to explain the value and content of each course thoroughly prior to your enrollment. We want to ensure your satisfaction, so we allow you to complete the Introduction and Orientation Module so you can be comfortable with the remaining content of the course and experience a sample of the learning. However, if you continue to progress through the course beyond the Introduction Module, it is with the understanding that you are committing to accept no refund beyond that point. In short: Our refund policy for courses is fourteen days or the completion of Module One of the class, whichever occurs first.
- For courses that include “tangible” intellectual property such as a website design, website hosting, or other services that involve the delivery of infrastructure, programming code, or third-party costs, the refund of the refund of the course will be honored within fourteen (14) days or completion of Module One, whichever is sooner, less a reclamation fee for the unrecoverable costs of producing and conveying the intellectual property and services.
Physical Product Refunds: For physical products returned in resalable condition and sealed in their original packaging, we will honor a full refund within 30 days, less shipping. For non-resalable products that are defective, we will honor a full refund less shipping. For non-resalable products damaged in shipment to you, we will honor a full refund less shipping. For open-box products or products where the seal has been broken, we will honor a refund less shipping and a 20% restocking fee. Personalized or customized products (such as business cards and emblematic items) are non-refundable once produced and delivered following customer approval of a proof copy as part of the production process.
